User Voicemail Information
This article describes how to access your voicemail box as well as record your greetings and the options within the voicemail system.
Accessing your Voicemail Box
To access your voicemail box simply hit the messages button on your phone, or dial *97.
Other Voicemail Boxes
To access any voicemail box other than the one assigned to your extensions, dial *96.
When you do, you will be prompted for the voicemail box number followed by the password.
Voicemail Box Settings and Greetings
After you have successfully accessed your voicemail box you can manage your voicemail messages, update you greetings and change your password from within the voicemail system.
- Press 1 for new messages (old messages if there are no new messages)
- Press 1 to skip directly to the message, bypassing the envelope (Caller ID, date and time of message)
- Press 2 to start the current message over
- Press 3 for advanced options
- Press 1 to send a voicemail reply to the caller on the same system
- Press 2 to call the person who left the message
- Press 3 to hear the message envelope
- Press * to return to the main menu
- Press 4 to skip the current message
- Press 5 to repeat the message
- Press 6 to skip the current message
- Press 7 to delete (or undelete) the message
- Press 8 to forward the message to another extension
- Press 1 to add a prepended message
- Press 2 to forward the voicemail without a prepended message
- Press 9 to save the message
- Press 2 to change folders
- Press 1 for Old Messages
- Press 2 for Work Messages
- Press 3 for Family Messages
- Press 4 for Friends messages
- Press # to return to the main menu
- Press 0 for mailbox options
- Press 1 to record your unavailable greeting
- Press 2 to record your busy greeting
- Press 3 to record your name
- Press 4 to manage your temporary greeting
- Press 5 to change your password
- Press * to return to the main menu
- Press * for Help
- Press # to exit the voicemail system
